I have a Pioneer deck with an AUX input for a line from the headphone output on my iPod. Sounds great. I have a mount on the dash that the iPod fits into perfectly and gives me a full view and access to the controls. Not quite as spiffy as the new touch screen options available with the USB hookup, but it works great for me and the price was right.

I also run it through Infinity speakers and could not be happier with the sound. For those out there on limited budgets and can't swing a new deck, by all means at least change out the factory speakers in your ride and you'll be very happy for a relatively small investment.

I second this. I have a simple stereo with AUX input and it sounds fantastic. It's also the simplest of solutions I think.
